I feel it and it takes all my bewildered effort to keep standing, to keep from caving in on myself. The gremlin is at work again. Gnawing, chewing, twisting. I am depleted. I am forlorn. Without peace. I see no light. No color. The gremlin has consumed it in in his furiously dark-energized activities deep in the bowels of my soul. I can barely think. I can barely breath. My focus is in a vice grip. Flung from one end of my life to the other. I feel the rise of tears, like a mighty tidal wave a-coming. The avalanche of myself and I scream but nothing escapes my lips. Only silence. The Gremlin has taken that from me too.
